NOT dishwasher safe, hand wash with a damp cloth only. Use a bristled brush to brush away debris left over from the use of grinding 

Instructions:

1. Twist off the base and remove the battery compartment 
2. Insert the 6x AAA batteries (included) and place the compartment back in the grinder
3. Twist off the top and fill with salt, pepper, or spice of your choosing.
4. Put base and top back together, twist until secure
5. Tip your Thea grinder to at least 90°, and it will begin to grind 

Note: to adjust granule size, simply turn the silver top following the 3 dots
